What is the difference between initial and settled views?

An initial query provides a “snapshot” of the original sale; it appears the day after the sale comes into IAR. A settled query returns the final information submitted in a sales report; it appears in ARC Document Retrieval Service no later than the Monday following a Tuesday sales report submission. Changes to IAR are available only in the settled data. The Response Screen also shows those transactions that were unable to be settled because of errors in the transaction and shows the associated error code.

 

Why does my browser hang up when I try to connect to the login page?

You may be typing http: instead of https: at the beginning of the URL. We recommend that you bookmark the login page (https://arcdrs.arccorp.com/).

 

Are transactions handled directly by the carriers included in ARC Document Retrieval Service?
ARC COMPASS has a complete record of transactions processed by ARC. We are working with carriers to get records of their transactions but do not have that information at this time.

 

If I use the browser back button, I get an error page. Why?

The ARC Document Retrieval Service application is located on a secure page, so the red system buttons at the bottom of the screen should be used for navigation. If you accidentally click the back button, you should click Refresh (Internet Explorer) or Reload (Netscape Navigator).

 

I am unfamiliar with some of the terms in ARC Document Retrieval Service. How can I find out what they mean?

Can I print an agent sales summary from ARC Document Retrieval Service?

Can I set up additional users?

Yes, as many as you need. If you are your organization's Security Manager, you can access the ARC Document Retrieval Service Administration System. The best way to get started is to read the online help section for adding users.
