Sending Faxes to ARC

Have you recently tried to fax supporting documentation to ARC but you've heard a voice mail pick up the other end?

There are some phones that have dual functions in that they act as a fax and a telephone. Please try sending your fax again, but do not pick up the phone/receiver.

ARC's new phone system recognizes a fax and therefore, if the receiver is picked up, our new system will not recognize that call as an incoming fax but instead will recognize it as a phone call.

If you're faxing from a standalone fax machine, you should not encounter this problem.
