Arik Air (W3/725) has joined ARC as a participating carrier, effective with sales on November 16, 2009 (PED 11/22/09). In operation since 2006, Arik Air is a wholly-owned Nigerian airline operating regional, continental and international service.
With headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, Arik Air operates scheduled flights to 19 destinations within Nigeria in addition to destinations in West Africa, South Africa and the United Kingdom. Arik Air has also recently introduced non-stop service to JFK International from Lagos.
Arik Air operates Boeing NG 737 & 737-800, Airbus 340-500, and Hawker Bombardier Q-300 & Q-400 aircraft.
Arik Air has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC agents are automatically appointed as agents of Arik Air unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier. At this time, Arik Air accepts cash as the only valid form of payment through ARC.

Recent incidents of unauthorized (remote) ticketing are prompting ARC to send this alert to our travel agent community in advance of the upcoming holidays.
Please take action and always monitor ticketing on a daily basis for unauthorized ticketing.
Review your IAR report or access all ticketing in your GDS early each day (including weekends and holidays) and review today's and yesterday's ticketing, looking for:
If you suspect unauthorized ticketing or compromised credit cards, take immediate action to properly void the ticket through your GDS to obtain the ESAC code from the carrier's e-ticket database. Contact your GDS to inhibit all ticketing from any pseudo city code that you believe has been compromised and contact ARC Field Investigation and Fraud Prevention at email@example.com or 703.816.8137 for additional instructions.

Sales Report Submission
ARC's offices will be closed on Thursday, November 26, 2009, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Customer Care Center will be open on Friday, November 27. Your weekly sales report for PED 11/29/09 must be authorized by midnight, Tuesday, December 1.

Friday, November 27: 9:00am - 5:30pm EST

2nd Day Delivery orders placed on Wednesday, November 25 before 4:00 EST will arrive Monday, November 30.
Emergency orders placed Friday, November, 27 will ship on Monday, November 30 and arrive Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

The search function of ARC Memo Manager allows you to search for specific information or data by typing keywords into a search engine. Users are able to search using a wildcard in fields marked with a ♠ symbol. In addition, Memo Manager allows you to save your search parameters to use again in the future. To search for specific memo information:
At the ARC Memo Manager default landing page, click the Advanced Search link. Once selected, the Memo Manager - Search screen displays.
Type one or more values to search by various criteria:
Now select the Memo Type you wish to search for using the drop down box.
Note: Not all search criteria need to be selected to complete a search but the more criteria used will narrow the scope of the search and bring back fewer results.
