Air Senegal International Joins ARC

Air Senegal International (V7/407) has joined ARC as a participating carrier, effective with sales on August 25, 2008 (PED 08/31/08).

With headquarters in Dakar, Senegal, Air Senegal International operates domestic scheduled flights between Dakar and Tambacounda, Ziguinchor and Cap Skirring, along with regional flights to Abidjan, Bamako, Banjul, Comakry, Cotonou, Lome, Niger, Ouagadougou, Casablanca and Johanesburg. Air Senegal International also has flights to Paris, Lyon and Marseille.

Air Senegal International is offering an introductory 5% sales commission on published fares to ARC-accredited agencies & CTDs.

Air Senegal International has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC-accredited agencies and corporate travel departments are automatically appointed as agents of Air Senegal International. At this time, Air Senegal International accepts cash as the only form of payment through ARC.

Insel Air Becomes ARC Participant

Insel Air (7I), the official airline of the Netherlands Antilles, has joined ARC effective with sales on August 25, 2008 (PED 08/31/08).

Air Insel serves destinations throughout the Caribbean and South America from its hubs in Curacao and St. Maarten, including Aruba, Bonaire, Port au Prince, Santo Domingo; Paramaribo, Suriname; Las Piedras, Barquisimeto and Valencia in Venezula, and soon, Maracaibo, Venezuela. In addition, Insel Air provides charter services to non-scheduled destinations for various groups, organizations and companies. Insel Air operates a fleet of MD-80s and Embraer 110 Bandeirantes.

Insel Air will begin service to Miami International, San Juan, and Manaus, Brazil in October 2008.

ExpressJet Will Voluntarily Terminate From ARC

ExpressJet (XE/477) has announced it will cease operating its network under its own brand effective September 2, 2008, and will therefore voluntary terminate from ARC, effective September 22, 2008 (PED 09/28/08). Agents are encouraged to submit any outstanding transactions prior to that date. XE/477 transactions submitted in sales reports for PED 09/28/08 or after will be rejected and/or returned unprocessed. Once XE/477 is deleted from ARC, travel professionals holding any XE/477 transactions are asked to handle as follows:

It's Time to Register for My ARC

Registration for My ARC is currently available to all IAR users. My ARC is your centralized access point to a growing list of ARC tools and resources.

This growing list will soon include IAR.

  • Self-service password resets
  • Single sign-on for ISS and, in the near future, for IAR
  • Delegated administrative capabilities such as granting or revoking ISS access via simple administrative interface.

ARC Labor Day Holiday Information

Sales Report Submission

ARC's offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2008, in observance of Labor Day. Agencies and CTDs will have an extra day to prepare the sales report for PED 8/31/08. Placing Emergency Document Requisition Orders Before the Labor Day Holiday

Please be advised that ARC will be closed Monday, September 1, 2008 in observance of Labor Day. Emergency orders placed Friday, August 29 before 4:00 PM EST will be delivered Tuesday, September 2 due to UPS scheduling. Please order your ticket stock accordingly.
