PLUNA Lineas Aereas Uruguayas S.A. (PU/286) has joined ARC as a participating carrier effective with sales on June 30, 2008 (PED 07/06/08).
With headquarters in Montevideo, Uruguay, PLUNA serves the South American countries of Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina and Chile, in addition to Spain, with connecting service to the U.S. and Europe through code-share agreements. PLUNA operates a fleet of CRJ-900 Next Gen for its regional flights and Boeing 767-300 ER for its long-haul flights.
PLUNA has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC agents are automatically appointed as agents of PLUNA unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier. At this time, PLUNA accepts cash as the only form of payment through ARC.

Effective with sales of June 30, 2008 (PED 07/06/08), both Virgin Nigeria (786/VK) and PAWA Dominicana (110/7Q) accept Diner's Club International, MasterCard and Visa as forms of payment through ARC.
Effective with sales of June 30, 2008 (PED 07/06/08), Heli Air Monaco (YO/747) now accepts American Express as a valid form of payment through ARC.
As more carriers use Memo Manager to deliver their memos, the ARC team would like to kindly remind agents to proactively sign into Memo Manager to check if they have new memos in the system. This can easily be done by logging in and looking under the "Alerts" section on the home page.
As a reminder, memos are only inserted into an agent's sales report from Memo Manager when an agent authorizes payment. Agents can also dispute memos and communicate with the carrier via this online tool.

Sales Report Submission
ARC's offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2008, in observance of Independence Day. Agencies and CTDs will not have an extra day to prepare the sales report for PED 07/06/08. Your weekly sales report must be authorized by midnight Tuesday, July 8, 2008.
