ARC Ticket Resolution Service (TRS)

Use/Match analysis and collection of used flight coupons

The ARC Ticket Resolution Service helps ARC participating carriers account for and collect payment for used, ARC unreported tickets and carrier-identified credit card chargeback ticket transactions. We use the latest technology and best practices to identify and resolve more than $10 million in unreported tickets annually for our subscribing carrier customer base.

TRS is a two-part solution: our use/match service and resolution/collection. Our use/match service identifies unreported sales by comparing carrier-provided used ticket data to the ticketing activity stored in ARC's data warehouse, ARC COMPASS®. That information is then provided to our trained TRS team for additional research and resolution or collection.

Carriers may also register for our Memo Manager resolution/collection service plug-in, which allows Memo Manager users to flag credit card chargeback items for us to resolve and collect.

Use/match Service

ARC's online use/match service helps carriers clarify the status of ARC tickets where the carrier is the validating or transporting carrier. After the carrier uploads its files, ARC can perform an in-depth analysis and posts results for the carrier to review. The analysis accounts for payment and identifies why a payment was not matched to a sale.

Collection and Resolution

Once a transaction is flagged for collection, ARC contacts the agent, requesting payment through IAR or Memo Manager. In the case of disputes, we will verify any claims against our records, taking every effort to satisfactorily resolve the claim.

Options

There are three options available: basic, expanded, and debit memo collection and resolution.

  • The Basic TRS option provides an advanced data analysis of ticketed transactions and subsequent resolution of carriers' unreported sales. Specific responses will be provided to assist with unmatched problems such as unreported sales, interline billing issues, E-Ticket errors, lift scan/keying errors and more. Actual "unreported sales" are identified then resolved or collected by ARC staff. Funds collected are settled through ARC's weekly carrier disbursements. A use/match analysis and report is provided.
  • The Expanded TRS option provides the same features of the Basic use/match service plus expanded tax detail information for each submitted transaction. Taxes are broken down by tax code and dollar value.
  • The Debit memo collection and resolution TRS option provides a plug-in to Memo Manager. It allows you to flag credit card chargeback items for ARC staff to resolve or collect. Funds collected are settled through ARC's weekly carrier disbursements. (Memo Manager service required)
  • Enables carriers to account for the payment of used ARC unreported tickets
  • Unreported sales can be identified before a debit memo is issued by the carrier
  • Allows carriers to collect on credit card chargeback ticket transactions
  • Customers have access to a highly skilled team at ARC who will conduct research and collect the unreported sale or credit card chargeback.
  • ARC uses the normal settlement process to disburse payments.
