ARC Itinerary Detail – Global Data is ARC’s newest data product, now compatible with IATA PaxIS – Global Data. ARC has added data to ARC Itinerary Detail, bringing the transaction level data to 49 data elements including origin airport, destination airport, class of service, and marketing carrier for each segment of travel.

ARC Itinerary Detail – Global Data is based on all business and leisure transactions processed* by more than 20,000 U.S. travel agencies in the ARC standard file specification. ARC has licensed the standard file specification to IATA making a single, worldwide file specification available for the first time. The standard file specification makes it easier for carriers and other customers to aggregate data from ARC and IATA with individual carrier data, providing a cost-effective alternative to a combination of products purchased from multiple technology providers.

ARC delivers detailed segment level information for all transactions on all ARC-participating carriers. You get faster insight into actual traffic and routes which lets you respond more quickly to changes in the marketplace. Using settled transaction information that includes refunds and exchanges, and is net of voids; this data is essential for rapidly responding to changes in the marketplace.
