Small Independent Locations (this represents the majority of ARC locations and entity types)

The typical small agent selling 1,000 transactions or less per quarter will see an increase of about $250.00 per year from 2007. This equates to $20.00 per month. 80% of ARC locations fall into this category where an agent will pay no transaction fee and is charged solely the $395.00 yearly fee for access to all ARC products and services. ARC will split the collection of the fixed fee portion of the annual fee to ARC-accredited independent locations collecting $150 in January 2008 and the remaining balance in July, 2008.

Agency with Branches

An agent with five branches and 100,000 transactions would be in the top tier of agents with respect to volumes. This agency will see an increase of $250.00 in the home office location fee per year from 2007, and a $25.00 increase in the branch fee from 2007 (5 branches x $5.00 branch fee increase). Additionally, this agent will see a $300.00 increase in the transaction fee. Their total costs for 2008 will be $3,145.00 up from $2,570 in 2007.
