RECORD E-TICKETING CHARACTERIZES SEVEN BILLION DOLLAR GROWTH REPORTED IN ARC YEAR-END REPORTING & SETTLEMENT SUMMARY

Arlington, VA, January 18, 2007 – ARC today released a summary of December 2006 and the 2006 year-end total Reporting & Settlement results.

• ARC reporting and settlement volume for 2006 reached levels not seen since 2000. Total Sales of $77.8 billion represented ARC’s processing and settlement of travel agency and CTD sales transactions on behalf of 152 airlines and railroads.
• A year-over-year increase of 10% in total sales was evidenced in reported fares that rose 9% domestically and 11% for international transactions.
• Annual transaction volume rose 2% between 2005 and 2006.

ARC’s transaction processing in the past year was characterized by industry-leading growth in e-Ticketing.

• e-Ticketing as a percentage of travel documents processed on behalf of all ARC participating carriers rose from 89.47% at the beginning of the year to a record level of 95.43% at year’s end.
• In the final month of 2006, ARC’s U.S. shareholders’ e-ticketing percentage was 98.7%.

Note: An additional processing week was added to November 2006 in order to end the year at 53 weeks rather than the usual number of 52 (a necessary periodic adjustment).
