ARC SEPTEMBER REPORTING & SETTLEMENT SUMMARY
EXPANDED CARRIER PARTICIPATION

Arlington, VA, October 12, 2006 – ARC today released a summary of September 2006 and year to date Reporting & Settlement results. This represents ARC’s processing and settlement of travel agency and CTD sales transactions on behalf of 148 airlines and railroads.

Remarkable among the indicators of the growth of ARC’s system and services is the growing number of carrier participants. The inclusion of fourteen new participating airlines has resulted in a net increase of eight carriers over the past year. Emblematic of the newly added carriers is their global representation. These have all been intercontinental carriers or carriers with an established overseas presence whose inclusion in the ARC settlement and distribution system has given them a valuable foothold for distribution in the US. Moreover, this has given ARC’s travel agent and CTD stakeholders a more global reach than has ever been the case before.

Other highlights from the month and year to date were as follows:

• Total sales by travel agents and CTDs were just under $7 billion for the five-week processing month of September 2006 - or 4% over the same month in 2005
• Average Weekly Sales per Agency Location continued growing in September reaching $65,509 per location eclipsing last year’s average sales by 9%.
• Reflecting the global industry initiative toward all electronic ticketing, ARC’s e-Ticketing as a percentage of total ticketing reached 94.82% for the five weeks of September.
