ARC WELCOMES AEGEAN AIRLINES
AS 148TH CARRIER PARTICIPANT

Arlington, VA, October 9, 2006 – ARC announced today that travel agents and CTDs may now ticket on Aegean Airlines (390/A3). Based in Kifissia, Greece, Aegean Airlines has joined ARC effective with sales starting today, bringing the global number of carriers available through ARC to 148.

Aegean Airlines’ expanding network encompasses fifteen major Greek cities including Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Chania, Rhodes, Corfu, Alexandroupolis, Kavala, Ioannina, Mitilini, Santorini, Mykonos, Chios, Kos, and Samos. Also served are eight international destinations through a combination of on-line and code-share service. International destinations include Larnaca, Rome, Milan, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich, and Sofia. In addition, Venice, Palermo, Genoa, Turin, Catania, Trieste, Naples, Bari, and Lamezia Terme are served via Rome through code share flights with Air One. Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Hanover and Hamburg are served via Frankfurt and Munich through code share with Lufthansa. Moreover, Aegean Airlines and TAP Portugal, a member of Star Alliance, have recently established a commercial co-operation agreement including the operation of the routes Lisbon/Athens and Lisbon/Thessaloniki in code-share. Aegean Airlines’ fleet consists of six AVRO RJ-100 jet aircraft and fifteen Boeing 737-300/400 jet aircraft. The AVRO RJ-100 has been especially readjusted for maximum passenger comfort with only 100 seats instead of the normal 117 fitted by the manufacturer.

Aegean Airlines will initially accept only cash through ARC but has plans to add American Express, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, Discover, Visa, and MasterCard in the near future.
