ARC WELCOMES NEW SOUTH PACIFIC PARTICIPANT

Arlington, VA, August 24, 2006 - Aircalin (063/SB) has joined ARC as a participating carrier, effective with sales starting Monday, August 28, 2006.

Founded in 1983, Air Caledonia International dba Aircalin operates a fleet of new A330 and A320 Airbus aircraft with non-stop service from its South Pacific headquarters in Noumea, New Caledonia to Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Fiji (Nadi), Tahiti (Papeete), Wallis Island, Vanuatu (Port Vila) and direct services to Tokyo and Osaka in Japan. Aircalin offers two classes of service – business and coach – with full inflight service featuring French cuisine and entertainment, including movies, TV, audio, games, telephones and iXplore™, a new onboard flight path entertainment system.

Aircalin has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC-accredited agencies and corporate travel departments are automatically appointed as agents of the carrier unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier. In addition to cash, Aircalin will be accepting MasterCard and Visa as valid forms of payment.
