ARC PROCESSING STRONG THROUGH JUNE

Arlington, VA, July 13, 2006 - ARC today released a summary of June 2006 and year to date Reporting & Settlement results. This represents ARC’s processing and settlement of travel agency and CTD sales transactions on behalf of 147 airlines and railroads. Highlights from the month and first two quarters were as follows:

• Total sales by travel agents and CTDs reached $41.6 billion at the conclusion of the second quarter of 2006 or 13% over the period in 2005.
• International Fares set a new record for dollar volume in a five-week processing month at $3.2 billion in June. Domestic fares also finished the month strongly having reached a total dollar volume of $4 billion for the month exceeding the same month a year ago by 12%.

Note: A corrected copy of ARC’s electronically archived monthly processing statistics for February, 2006 has been posted on ARC’s Web site. The corrected line item was “Taxes” (including taxes, fees, and charges) for the month of February only which were erroneously overstated by $30 million. The typographical error did not affect any cumulative year-to-date figure or any subsequent summary of processing results.
