ARC WELCOMES SATA INTERNATIONAL
Arlington, VA, February 2, 2006
– ARC is pleased to welcome SATA International (331/S4) as a participating carrier, effective with sales starting Monday, February 6, 2006. This enables 22,000 ARC accredited travel agency and corporate travel department locations to settle SATA International transactions through ARC’s trusted settlement system.
With headquarters in Ponta Delgada, Azores, and reservations and revenue accounting offices in Fall River, MA, SATA International serves Boston, MA, with connecting service to the Azores and Lisbon, Portugal on a year-round basis. Additionally, SATA International offers seasonal service between Providence, RI and Ponta Delgada during peak season. SATA International operates A310-300 aircraft for its North Atlantic routes and A320s for several other destinations in Portugal.
SATA International has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC-accredited agencies are automatically appointed as agents of the carrier unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier. In addition to cash, SATA International will be accepting Visa and MasterCard as valid forms of payment.
