GEORGIAN AIRWAYS TO BECOME ARC-PARTICIPATING CARRIER
Arlington, VA, August 15, 2005
Georgian Airways (606/A9) will join ARC as a participating carrier effective with sales starting Monday, August 22, 2005,
giving 22,000 ARC accredited travel agency and corporate travel department locations the ability to settle Georgian Airways
transactions through ARC’s trusted settlement system.
Based in Tbilisi, the capital city of the country of Georgia, Georgian Airways offers service to several European and Russian
destinations including Amsterdam, Athens, Frankfurt, Kiev, Moscow, Paris, Prague, and Vienna. The carrier also flies to Tel-Aviv,
Israel, and several domestic Georgian destinations. The airline operates a fleet of Boeing 737 series, Yak series, and Anatov-2
aircraft.
As Georgian Airways has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment, all ARC-accredited agencies are automatically
appointed as agents of the carrier. At this time, the carrier accepts cash as the only form of payment.
