ARC RELEASES MARCH 2005 OPERATING RESULTS

Arlington, VA, April 14, 2005 - ARC today released its summary of March 2005 operating results. Highlights were as follows:

• Average Weekly Sales by Agency Location reached a new record for the second month in a row. Average sales of $63,779 are 12% higher than the same month in 2004
• Both total sales and total fares were 2% above March 2004
• Transactions processed in the five processing weeks in March were 4% higher than the same month in 2004
