ARC CONTINUES ATA PROCESSING AS CARRIER FILES FOR CHAPTER 11 PROTECTION
Arlington, VA October 29, 2004 -
ARC has been advised that ATA (TZ/366) voluntarily filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy
Code. This action was filed on October 26, 2004 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Indiana in
Indianapolis. The case number for ATA Holdings is 0419866 and for ATA Airlines, it is 0419868, Judge Basil H. Lorch
presiding.
ATA stated publicly that it expects to continue operation of its flights and customer programs without interruption,
and that its ticket refund and exchange policies remain in effect. At a hearing on October 29, 2004, approval was
given to the assumption of the ARC Agent Reporting Agreement and Carrier Services Agreement by the carrier. On this
basis, ARC will continue processing ATA validated transactions, including sales, refunds, and exchanges without
interruption.
