JULY OPERATING RESULTS REVEAL LEAP IN TRAVEL AGENT E-TICKETING

- The average weekly e-ticketing by ARC accredited travel agencies and corporate travel departments took a big jump in July. Average e-ticketing as a percentage
of total ticketing reached 86.87% in July compared to 84.94% the month before and 83.26% a year ago. The month of July ended with e-ticketing peaking at 87.43%,
establishing a new record level of e-ticketing for the travel agency industry as served by ARC.
Total sales and international fares both compare favorably to the year before in ARC's monthly operational statistics for July 2004 although less so than in recent months of relatively
stronger growth. Domestic fares meanwhile ended the month at five percent below July of 2003.
Average weekly sales per agency location continue well above 2003 levels, exceeding average weekly sales a year ago by thirteen percent.
