BOSTON-MAINE AIRWAYS BECOMES ARC PARTICIPATING CARRIER

Arlington, VA, Decebmer 15, 2003 - Boston-Maine Airways, 385/E9, operating as the Pan Am Clipper Connection, has joined ARC as a participating carrier, giving more than 26,000 ARC-accredited travel agency and corporate travel department locations the ability to settle Boston-Maine Airways transactions through ARC's trusted settlement system, effective with sales of December 15, 2003.

The airline operates in Atlantic Canada (Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada), in the northeastern United States (Portsmouth, NH; Groton, CT; Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket, MA; White Plains, NY; and Baltimore/Washington) and in the Caribbean (San Juan & Aguadilla, PR and Punta Cana & Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).

Boston-Maine Airways joins ARC under the ARC Associate Carrier Program, a cost-effective settlement solution for small to mid-sized carriers distributing inventory in the U.S. market.  With ARC settlement, carriers benefit from direct, weekly settlement of U.S. sales.

Boston-Maine Airways has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC agents are automatically appointed as agents of Boston-Maine Airways unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier.   In addition to cash, the carrier accepts the following forms of credit card payment: MasterCard and Visa.
