June 23, 2003 - Arlington, Virginia - VASP Brazilian Airlines, 343/VP, has joined ARC as a participating carrier, effective with sales of June 30, 2003.

By becoming an ARC participating carrier, VASP Brazilian Airlines gains direct access to ARC's more than 27,000 travel agency locations and corporate travel departments, which can now sell the carrier's extensive network of flights throughout Brazil and have the transaction settled through ARC's familiar reporting cycle.

With headquarters in Sao Paulo, Brazil and a reservations office in Miami, Florida, VASP Brazilian Airlines serves 32 domestic destinations within Brazil.  VASP operates a fleet of Boeing 737-200, 737-300 and Airbus A-300 aircraft.

VASP Brazilian Airlines has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment, whereby all ARC-accredited agency locations and CTDs are automatically appointed as agents of VASP Brazilian Airlines unless specifically advised to the contrary by the carrier.  At this time, the carrier accepts cash as the only form of payment.
