ARC ADDS TICKET DETAIL WINDOW TO ARC DOCUMENT RETRIEVAL SERVICE

Arlington, VA, June 19, 2003 - ARC, a leader in airline financial processing and data services, today announced it has enhanced the ARC Document Retrieval Service to give users access to ten more fields of ticket information not previously available in the service.  The enhanced service remains free of charge to travel agents, corporate travel departments and carriers.

The enhancements to the Web-based service will save travel agents and carriers time and money as they research tickets, by consolidating all of the ticketing information into a single, user-friendly interface.  The new Ticket Detail window is divided into three sections containing information on the ticket record, itinerary and fare.  Data fields within these sections include information not previously featured in the ARC Document Retrieval Service, such as the fare basis and ticket designator for each segment, the booking agent ID and the fare calculation mode indicator.  Paired with the information already available in the ARC Document Retrieval Service Auditors Coupon, access to these additional fields of information will speed up debit memo resolution and ticket research for refunds and commission payments.

ARC launched the ARC Document Retrieval Service in 2001 to give ARC-accredited travel agents and participating carriers access to ticket transaction information over the Web, reducing the need for paper in the ticketing process.  Agents and carriers currently use the service to securely and easily view transaction details, resolve debit memos, and cut storage costs.  The service currently offers online access to 39 months of ticket history stored in the ARC COMPASS^SM database.   Access to the ARC Document Retrieval Service is free to all ARC-accredited travel agents and participating carriers.  More than 12,000 travel agent and carrier users have signed up to use the ARC Document Retrieval Service.
