In June 2003, ARC modified the amount of time agents have to void and modify a ticket. Under these new
void and modification procedures, a transaction can be voided directly in the GDS up until 11:59PM the
next business day after the ticket was issued. Agents have an additional day beyond that to reconcile
the IAR report to ensure that all voids executed in the GDS were updated in IAR. If a void did not update
in IAR, then the agent can perform a manual void with the VA (Void Add) entry in IAR on the 2nd day after
the ticket was issued, before the IAR void window closes. (*Note: Tickets issued on Friday, Saturday or
Sunday can be voided in the GDS until 11:59PM Monday). Refer to the links below for more detailed
