Travel consultant Margie Jordan is a South Africa Fundi Tourism Expert certified by South African Tourism. She has been featured in publications including Smart Money magazine, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Miami Herald and Sister2Sister magazine., and she has been a frequent contributor to Reuter's. Margie is also the Travel Advisor for the Florida Black Chamber of Commerce, assisting travelers in discovering their African American heritage.
Dave Stockert, CTC
Previously Director, National Accounts for Holland America Line Inc., Dave Stockert is a contractor for Holland America Line and Seabourn Cruises. With nearly 30 years of cruise industry experience, he has conducted numerous seminars and workshops for national organizations such as ASTA, AAA, Cruise One and Cruise Planners. His experience in the field has given him a comprehensive understanding of the needs of travel agents and home-based travel professionals. Stockert is the author of "The Idea Machine", a popular book designed to help travel agents sell cruises.
Joanie Ogg, CTC, MCC
Joanie Ogg is a 35-year travel industry executive who was voted "Travel Agent of the Year" by her peers, named three years running as one of the "Most Powerful Women in Travel" by Travel Agent Magazine, and received two "Lifetime Achievement Awards" from Travel Trade Magazine. Most recently Joanie was inducted into the CLIA "Hall of Fame" an honor only given to the most influential executives in the industry. She has co-authored three popular travel industry books and has authored hundreds of travel trade articles. Joanie's ongoing support of the travel agency community and professionalism continue on behalf travel professionals everywhere. She has inspired tens of thousands of travel agents attending her presentations and keynotes at trade events, cruise seminars, international trade gatherings and numerous local educational venues throughout the United States.
Tom Ogg is a 40-year travel industry veteran and has owned numerous brick and mortar retail travel agencies and a wholesale Hawaii tour company, started one of the first reputable host agency models with his wife Joanie, and acquired NACTA (sold later to ASTA). Tom has authored several travel industry books including How to Start a Home Based Travel Agency. An entrepreneur at heart, Tom believes that this is the finest moment for travel professionals willing to embrace today's technologies and opportunities. Maggie leads the Marketing Communications, Brand, and Events teams at ARC. She joined the organization in 2006 after several years as an Art Director at a Philadelphia advertising agency catering to the IT, healthcare, and destination management markets. She continues to spearhead the evolution of the ARC brand, winning many industry awards for her team's creative work. Maggie is responsible for overseeing all of ARC's marketing and advertising activities, and for ensuring customers see and understand the value that ARC brings to the industry.
She currently lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, daughter, and her 2 French Bulldogs Biff and Blanche.
Jeannine is responsible for ensuring our Travel Agency customers receive optimal services and full value from their participation with ARC. Jeannine provides strategic direction and leadership to teams providing Agency Participation services, Agency Accreditation and Customer Care both in the U.S. and in the Caribbean. ARC is committed to delivering a world-class customer experience, and Jeannine is leading this effort with ARC's recently launched Net Promoter System (NPS) program. NPS provides the insights into what matters most to customers - and with those insights, Jeannine and her teams will drive improvements that customers value most. Jeannine brings a wealth of customer relationship experience to her current position. After joining ARC in 1994, she has held numerous leadership positions driving change throughout the organization. Jeannine was responsible for the creation and implementation of the company's Corporate Travel Department (CTD) program, established and led a team of National Account Managers and oversaw ARC's PR and Marketing Programs Divisions.
A native of Connecticut, Jeannine currently lives in Virginia with her husband and 3 children.
Doug Mangold is responsible for the management and operations of ARC's product portfolio. In his seven years at ARC, Mr. Mangold's teams have focused on delivering revenue generating products and programs for travel agencies. These include Helix, ARC Marketplace, and ARC's suite of service fee solutions such as Agent's Choice. Mr. Mangold is also responsible for ARC's carrier services products and ARC's data products.
Mr. Mangold's experience in product management, system and process development, and project management provides depth and breadth of expertise in successfully bringing products to market. He joined ARC in 2006 from Booz Allen Hamilton where he led mission critical programs for Federal Government clients. He had product operational and process development responsibilities at Teligent, a wireless telecommunications company, where he managed order entry, provisioning, and billing processes. He began his career as a business analyst and information systems developer for commercial and government clients. He has a Bachelor of Science and MBA from West Virginia University.
