Vice President - Financial Services and Chief Financial Officer
Alfred Altschul is responsible for strategic leadership of ARC's financial activities, including monitoring and accounting of the company's own financial performance. He ensures that the company meets its financial and liquidity requirements, manages financial settlements with Travel Agencies and Carriers, and oversees ARC's Carrier Financial Standards program and office services.
Before joining ARC in 1999, Altschul served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of both Amtrak and Midway Airlines, and as Treasurer of GATX Corporation - all of them ARC participants.
Altschul holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a former Director and member of the Finance committees of two inner-city hospitals.
